Giraffe 2.0

Giraffe 2.0 is a hybrid wind-solar power station & carport. It is comprised of a wooden structure supporting 24 PV modules & a wind turbine mounted at the 12 meter height. The Giraffe produces 15 000 kWh per year at 6m/s wind. The design of the solution was released in 2014 at the Business of Design Week in Hong Kong. The turbine is certified with AWEA (USA), MCS (UK), Class NK (Japan).
