NVP Energy has been awarded the Energy Entrepreneurs Fund from the Department of Energy & Climate Change in the UK. This grant will financially support the delivery of a full-scale Lt-AD reactor at an ABP Food Group site in the UK. This reactor will be delivered by March 2016 and will act as a basis for subsequent reactor sales into the global Food & Drink's market .

Lt-AD

Lt-AD treats low strength WW to a very high standard using short retention times. It operates successfully at temperatures as low as 4°C and so no heat is required for the process to work. The innovative design achieves high pollutant removals – 80% COD and 50% TSS and it produces up to 90% less organic sludge than the Activated Sludge Process. The biogas generated is 100% available for reuse.
