Description

Voltus will merge with publicly traded special purpose acquisition company Broadscale Acquisition Corp. and is expected to close in the first half of 2022. The combined company will have an estimated equity value of approximately $1.3 billion and will be listed on the Nasdaq. In addition to $345 million of cash held in Broadscale’s trust account (assuming no redemptions), the transaction includes a $100 million PIPE at $10.00 per share. Funding will be used for global expansion.
